We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst with at least 10 years of experience in financial planning, project budgeting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate has experience supporting technology-driven projects and is comfortable collaborating with product and project management stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, accuracy, and accountability across project lifecycles.
Project Financial Management: Own and maintain accurate project financials including budget creation, forecasting, variance analysis, and reconciliation.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with Technical Product Managers (TPMs) and Project Managers (PMs) to build and manage project budgets. Track and report on variances.
Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports highlighting key metrics, performance trends, and risks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate financial tracking processes, improve accuracy, and streamline workflows.
Project Governance: Ensure adherence to governance standards and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Resource Management: Support capacity planning and resource allocation in coordination with project teams.
Quality Assurance: Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with financial and project standards.
PMO Support: Assist in maintaining PMO documentation, templates, tools, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and project cost control
Proficiency with financial management tools and Excel-based reporting
Experience supporting financials within IT, PMO, or Agile product environments
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex financial information clearly
Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall
